Dr. Alexander Norbash is Chairman and Professor of Radiology at Boston University School of Medicine. He is a board certified radiologist with a special interest in interventional neuroradiology. Dr. Norbash has an active endovascular neurosurgical practice, with specific clinical interests in the endovascular treatment of aneurysms and high flow states, in addition to percutaneous vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty. His research interests include endovascular and interventional simulation systems, and developing tools and materials technologies for endovascular neurologic therapies.
Prior to joining Boston University Medical Center, he served as Director of Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and founded the Interventional Neuroradiology and Endovascular Neurosurgical practices at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Alexander Norbash received a Master’s Degree in Health Care Management from the Harvard School of Public Health in 2004. Dr. Norbash is a Past President of the New England Roentgen Ray Society, has developed a number of endovascular tools and products which are in clinical usage, has given over 350 lectures and invited presentations in North and South America, Central South and East Asia, Australia, and Europe, and has an active interest in International Medicine and Radiology. |
